1. Overview & Commitment
This Privacy Policy applies to the RojLog mobile application (the "App"). We believe your financial data is personal and sensitive. Our core design principle is that your data belongs to you and should remain under your control on your device.
2. Information We Handle
A. Local Financial Records:
- Income and expense amounts, transaction categories, dates, payment modes, and notes.
- Monthly budget allocations and recurring bill reminders.
- Savings goal targets, deposit progress, and group bill splits.
All the above data is stored strictly in your device's private local storage (AsyncStorage) and is never transmitted to our servers.
B. Information We DO NOT Collect:
- We do not collect bank account numbers, UPI PINs, or credit card details.
- We do not run third-party advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.
- We do not track your GPS location or device contacts.
3. Device Permissions & Security
- Biometrics / Fingerprint (Optional): Used locally on your device to unlock the application and confirm destructive data wipes. Biometric data is processed exclusively by your device's operating system and never accessible to the app.
- Storage / Files: Used only when you choose to export offline PDF Financial Statements or generate/restore offline JSON backups.
- Notifications: Used strictly for optional, on-device local reminders (e.g., daily evening logging reminders or upcoming bill alerts).
4. Data Retention & Deletion Rights
Because your records are stored locally, you maintain complete ownership:
- Instant In-App Deletion: You can permanently wipe all transaction records anytime by navigating to Profile → Backup & Restore → Reset All Data.
- Uninstalling: Uninstalling the application automatically deletes all locally stored app data.
5. Children's Privacy
RojLog does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is intended for general personal finance tracking.
